How to enter APN settings
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
Data works but MMS won't send. Smarty inherits Three's MMS setup, so check the MMSC and the hostname proxy mms.three.co.uk exactly. Smarty is data-first, and picture messaging is a known weak spot if the MMS profile is missing.
No data on an unlocked or imported phone. Enter the APN mob.asm.net by hand and restart. Unlocked phones often skip the automatic setup, so the field starts empty.
Settings reset after an update. A software update occasionally clears the APN. Re-enter mob.asm.net and the MMS values.
