Background
More about EE
EE began on 1 April 2010 as a joint venture of T-Mobile UK and Orange UK, called Everything Everywhere at first. It took the EE name in October 2012 when it launched the first 4G network in the UK, and it switched on the first UK 5G service on 30 May 2019 in six cities: London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast.
BT bought EE for £12.5 billion in a deal completed on 29 January 2016. EE owns its radio network, and BT Mobile and Lycamobile run on it. Its data APN is everywhere, with username eesecure and password secure.
