Setup guide
How to enter APN settings
1
Open Access Point Names
Go to
Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Access Point Names. On some phones it's under Settings → Connections → Mobile networks.2
Add a new APN
Tap + (or the menu → New APN) and set APN to
pda.stm.sasktel.com. Fill any other non-blank values from the table above and leave the rest as default.3
Save and select it
Save from the menu, then select the new SaskTel APN and toggle Airplane Mode on for ten seconds so the change takes effect.
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
Roaming outside Saskatchewan. SaskTel's own network is provincial; elsewhere you're on roaming partners.
MMS not sending. Confirm the current SaskTel MMSC and keep mobile data on.
No data on a brought phone. Add the SaskTel APN by hand and restart.
