Lucky Mobile was announced on December 1, 2017, and launched on December 4 in 17 Canadian metro areas. It's a Bell subsidiary, alongside Virgin Plus, and Bell now promotes it as its prepaid brand.
Lucky Mobile runs on Bell's network with data at 4G speeds, and it sells eSIMs. Unlike Virgin Plus, it has its own APN, connect, and its own MMS server, http://mms.luckymobile.ca/mms/wapenc.
