H2O Wireless was founded in 2005 and is a brand of Locus Telecommunications. KDDI America owned Locus from January 2010, and it has belonged to Telrite Holdings since 2019. Its head office is in Teaneck, New Jersey.
H2O runs on AT&T. Its SIM sets the phone up on its own in most cases. H2O uses PRODATA, with AT&T's MMS server and proxy. H2O's older setting was att.mvno with a Cingular MMS server, from before it moved its customers to LTE.
