More about iD Mobile
iD Mobile launched on 12 May 2015 as an MVNO on Three's network, set up by Carphone Warehouse. It now belongs to Currys, the retailer formed when Carphone Warehouse merged with Dixons. In January 2023 iD and Three agreed a multi-year extension of their network deal, and iD passed two million subscriptions in 2024.
iD Mobile uses its own APN, id, with no username or password. Its MMS proxy is a hostname, mms.idmobile.co.uk, not an IP address.
