How to enter APN settings
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
Data works but MMS won't send. Check the MMSC and MMS proxy values exactly, and make sure mobile data is on. A missing proxy host is a common cause of MMS failing while browsing still works.
Wrong circle settings. MTNL runs Delhi and Mumbai as separate circles with different network codes. Make sure you're using the values for the city your SIM belongs to.
No data on an unlocked or imported phone. Enter the APN mtnl.net by hand in lowercase and restart. Unlocked phones often skip MTNL's automatic setup, so the APN field starts empty.
