How to enter APN settings
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
No data after a SIM swap or on an imported phone. Enter the APN 'jionet' by hand, leave proxy and MMSC blank, then restart. Unlocked phones often skip Jio's automatic setup, so the APN field starts empty.
No service at all on an older handset. Jio runs entirely on 4G/5G with VoLTE and has no 2G or 3G fallback. A phone without VoLTE support simply won't connect, and no APN value will fix that.
Settings reset after an update. A software update occasionally clears the APN. Re-enter jionet with the proxy and MMSC fields blank.
