How to enter APN settings

Open Access Point Names
Go to
Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Access Point Names. On some phones it's under Settings → Connections → Mobile networks.2
Add a new APN
Tap + (or the menu → New APN) and set APN to
data.lycamobile.fr. Fill any other non-blank values from the table above and leave the rest as default.3
Save and select it
Save from the menu, then select the new Lycamobile APN and toggle Airplane Mode on for ten seconds so the change takes effect.
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
No data after inserting the SIM. Lycamobile SIMs frequently need the APN entered by hand. Add 'data.lycamobile.fr' with username 'lmfr' and password 'plus', then restart. Auto-configuration is unreliable on this MVNO.
Data works but MMS won't send. Set the MMSC to http://lyca.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc and make sure mobile data is on. If your phone needs an MMS proxy and port, check Lycamobile's current support page for the values your plan uses.
Settings reset after an update. A software update occasionally clears the APN. Re-enter data.lycamobile.fr and the MMS values.
