Background
More about Lebara
Lebara Mobile launched in the UK on Vodafone's network, announced on 31 October 2007, as a prepaid SIM-only service aimed at migrant workers who call abroad. In June 2021 Vodafone and Lebara signed a new exclusive deal, for three and a half years, that kept Lebara on Vodafone and added 5G.
Lebara uses its own APN, uk.lebara.mobi, with the username and password wap, not Vodafone's. Its MMS settings are Vodafone's, with the proxy on port 8799.
