How to enter APN settings
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
No data on an unlocked or imported phone. Enter the APN by hand and restart. Set the APN to biglobe.jp with username user@biglobe.jp, password 0000 and CHAP authentication. MVNO profiles rarely ship pre-installed.
Username rejected. Some devices want the username entered as plain 'user' instead of 'user@biglobe.jp'. If one form fails, try the other.
Wrong SIM type. Type-D rides Docomo and Type-A rides au. Confirm which type you have if data won't come up at all.
