How to enter APN settings
Tip
After saving, toggle Airplane Mode on and off for 10 seconds. This forces the phone to re-register with the network and pick up the new APN.
Troubleshooting
Common issues
No data on an unlocked or imported phone. Enter the APN by hand and restart. Set the APN to plus.acs.jp with username ym, password ym and CHAP authentication. Imported phones often skip Y!mobile's automatic setup.
Saved the APN but still no data. After saving, you must select the Y!mobile profile from the APN list. If it isn't selected, the connection won't come up.
Picture messages won't send. Add the MMS values: MMSC http://mms-s, MMS proxy andmms.plusacs.ne.jp, MMS port 8080. Y!mobile is one of the few Japanese carriers that uses traditional MMS.
