How to enter APN settings
Open Access Point Names
Go to
Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Access Point Names. On some phones it's underSettings → Connections → Mobile networks.Add a new APN
Tap + (or the menu → New APN) and set APN to
web.ho-mobile.it. Fill any other non-blank values from the table above and leave the rest as default.Save and select it
Save from the menu, then select the new ho. Mobile APN and toggle Airplane Mode on for ten seconds so the change takes effect.
Open the APN screen
Tap
Settings → Mobile Service → Mobile Data Network. On some iPhones the menu is called Mobile Data. If you don't see this option, ho. Mobile locks APN editing, so contact them or install a carrier profile.Enter the APN
Under Mobile Data, set APN to
web.ho-mobile.it. Leave Username and Password blank unless the table above lists them.Save and restart data
Go back to apply the change, then toggle Airplane Mode on for ten seconds so the iPhone re-registers with ho. Mobile.
Common issues
MMS does not work on ho. Mobile. ho. support says its SIMs do not support MMS, so no setting brings it back. Use RCS or a messenger such as WhatsApp.
No data on an unlocked or imported phone. Enter the APN web.ho-mobile.it by hand with no username or password and restart. You can also call 421113 from the ho. SIM to get the settings by message. For a hotspot, some phones need the separate APN internet.ho-mobile.it.
Settings reset after an update. A software update occasionally clears the APN. Re-enter web.ho-mobile.it, and check it has no stray spaces or characters.
