More about otelo
otelo began in 1997 as o.tel.o communications, a company set up by RWE and Vebacom. Arcor bought it in 1999, and Arcor later became part of Vodafone. Vodafone revived the otelo name as a prepaid brand in early 2010. It is a brand of Vodafone GmbH in Düsseldorf and runs on Vodafone's network.
otelo's APN is web.vodafone.de, and data.otelo.de also works on some SIMs. MMS ended on Vodafone's network in January 2023.
