More about Boost Mobile
Boost Mobile was founded in Sydney on August 1, 2000, by Peter Adderton. Optus licensed the brand from the start and ended the relationship in 2012, when Boost moved to resale on Telstra. From March 2013 it ran as an MVNO on Telstra's Next G network.
Boost was the only Telstra MVNO with access to the full network across regional and rural Australia, and Telstra agreed to buy it in December 2024. Since 3G closed, Boost asks for the network set to automatic and VoLTE turned on. It doesn't publish an APN. It shares only a name with the US Boost Mobile.
