How to enter APN settings
Open Access Point Names
Go to
Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile network → Access Point Names. On some phones it's underSettings → Connections → Mobile networks.Add a new APN
Tap + (or the menu → New APN) and set APN to
mmsbouygtel.com. Fill any other non-blank values from the table above and leave the rest as default.Save and select it
Save from the menu, then select the new Bouygues Telecom APN and toggle Airplane Mode on for ten seconds so the change takes effect.
Open the APN screen
Tap
Settings → Mobile Service → Mobile Data Network. On some iPhones the menu is called Mobile Data. If you don't see this option, Bouygues Telecom locks APN editing, so contact them or install a carrier profile.Enter the APN
Under Mobile Data, set APN to
mmsbouygtel.com. Leave Username and Password blank unless the table above lists them.Save and restart data
Go back to apply the change, then toggle Airplane Mode on for ten seconds so the iPhone re-registers with Bouygues Telecom.
Common issues
Data works but MMS won't send. Check that the MMSC is exactly http://mms.bouyguestelecom.fr/mms/wapenc, the APN type includes mms in lowercase, and mobile data is on. Leave the MMS proxy and port blank. If MMS still fails, add the older proxy 62.201.129.226 on port 8080 and try again.
No data on an unlocked or imported phone. Enter the APN by hand and restart. Unlocked phones often skip Bouygues' automatic setup, so the APN field starts empty.
Settings reset after an update. A software update occasionally clears the APN. Re-enter mmsbouygtel.com and the MMS values.
