In this post, you will learn how to setup your Android or iPhone with correct Straight Talk APN Settings. We have listed below the working apn settings for straight talk.
New users usually face problems on MMS and internet connectivity issues on Straight talk.  Straight Talk BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) data plan lets the new users to come with their old mobile phones. These phones are configured with the earlier mobile network apn settings. Hence they cannot connect to the Straight Talk  network.

Straight talk is a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and uses either T Mobile or AT&T. Based on this, the apn settings can be either T Mobile apn settings or AT&T apn settings.
Below are the 2 different settings which need to used based on your network. We recommend you to save both as two separate profiles so that you can switch if one doesn’t work.
If you are on T Mobile, then use the below apn settings.
- Name: straight talk
- APN: tfdata
- Proxy: Not Set
- Port: Not Set
- Server: Not Set
- MMSC: http://mms-tf.net
- MMS Proxy:Â mms3.tracfone.com
- MMS Port: 80
If you are on AT&T, then use the below one.
- Name: straight talk
- APN: wap.tracfone
- Proxy: Leave blank
- Port: 8080
- Server: Not Set
- MMSC: http://mms.tracfone.com
- MMS Proxy:Â Leave blank
- MMS Port: Leave blank
Note: Leave blank for both username and password.
Straight talk​ APN Settings for iPhone
Please make sure that Data Roaming and 3G has been enabled on your iPhone. Also turn f your Wifi.
Follow the below steps to configure T Mobile APN settings  for iPhone:
- First go to the main menu, then tab on Settings
- Now locate General and tab on it
- Then Network.
- Tap on Cellular Data Network
- Based on the network connected please use the earlier mentioned apn settings.
- Press the Home button on your iPhone and save the above apn settings and Exit to the Main Screen.
- Congrats, you had just created a new Straight talk​ APN settings. Open your favourite browser and start browsing.
Still it is not working?
Make sure you have selected the correct new apn settings as your default settings. Restart your iPhone and try again.
Cannot send MMS on Straight Talk?
Please double check and make sure MMS have been enabled. Restart your phone and try again.
Straight talk​ APN Settings for Android.
The same above settings apply for android devices as well. To update the Straight talk​ apn settings for android goto the below location.
Settings > More > Mobile networks > Access Point Names
